I heard the HR or the system will simply throw away those applications that don’t hit the bar for GPA for investment bank. Wondering what is the minimum of that to make sure I’m qualified?
If you're good, you have nothing to worry about GPA

Typically, I would expect a 3.3/4.0 above will meet the bar for initial screening. If you're applying for a non-revenue role: operation, HR, finance, etc, slightly below should still work for you.
In recent years, more and more banks are gradually less sensitive to GPA, they look more on candidate connection and engagement on different internship experience, social project work, etc.
No matter what your GPA is, most importantly, is how you package yourself to show the best part of you on your application, CV and cover letter.Typically, I would expect a 3.3/4.0 above will meet the bar for initial screening.
